From solo star to movie star

In 1985, Turner starred opposite Mel Gibson in post-apocalyptic action sequel 'Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome'.
She played Aunty Entity in the movie and won critical acclaim for her performance.
Tina also recorded two songs for the film, 'We Don't Need Another Hero (Thunderdome)' and 'One of the Living'.
In 1993, What's Love Got to Do with It, a biographical film adapted from her autobiography 'I, Tina: My Life Story', was released with Angela Bassett portraying the singer and Laurence Fishburne as Ike Turner.
In 1995, Tina also joined an exclusive list of artists to have been chosen to sing a James Bond theme, providing the title track to 'Goldeneye', starring Pierce Brosnan as 007.
