Jay-Z teased Snoop Dogg's arrival by rapping over the beat of Murder Was the Case before the West Coast star walked onto the stage at SoFi Stadium.

The surprise came during the second of two Los Angeles concerts on Saturday (24.10.26), bringing the rapper's Jay-Z 30 anniversary shows to an end.

Dr. Dre joined Snoop shortly afterwards, and Jay-Z handed over the stage as the pair launched into a medley of West Coast hits.

Their performance included The Next Episode, California Love, Nuthin' but a G Thang and Still D.R.E.

But they were not the only guests at the final show in Inglewood, California.

Oakland rapper Too Short had appeared earlier in the evening to perform Blow the Whistle, after Jay-Z opened with The Watcher 2.

The 56-year-old musician marked three decades since the release of his debut album Reasonable Doubt, which arrived in June 1996.

Addressing the crowd, he said: "Thank you for being here tonight. Tonight is special."

His set covered different stages of his career, with songs including Izzo (H.O.V.A.), 99 Problems, Dirt Off Your Shoulder and Empire State of Mind.

He also paid tribute to late Los Angeles rapper Nipsey Hussle, displaying his photograph while incorporating parts of Hussle and Motivate and Last Time That I Checc'd into the show.

During the closing number Encore, Jay-Z addressed online claims about ticket sales and the size of the audience.

He urged concertgoers to trust what they had witnessed instead of accepting everything they encountered online.

Speaking about misinformation and artificial intelligence, he said: "You gotta understand, you gotta question everything."

The previous night, Friday (23.10.26), had featured a different group of guests.

Jay-Z's daughter Blue Ivy Carter played piano during The Story of O.J. and Dead Presidents, while Scarface joined him for This Can't Be Life and Mind Playing Tricks on Me.

John Legend and DJ Khaled also appeared during the encore for God Did.

The anniversary run included three concerts at New York's Yankee Stadium in July, followed by performances in London and Paris.

Earlier stops brought appearances from Beyoncé, Rihanna, Nas and Alicia Keys.

The celebrations have also included Jay-Z in 8, a documentary series featuring producer Rick Rubin, which premiered on HBO in September.
