Renaissance
Brian Wilson credits his personal and professional resurgence in the 1990s to his marriage to Melinda Ledbetter, whom he wed in 1995.
That decade saw the release of several solo albums, including Orange Crate Art and Imagination, as well as the 1995 documentary Brian Wilson: I Just Wasn’t Made for These Times.
In 1999, he launched his first solo tour across the US and Japan.
However, as Brian grew more distant from the Beach Boys, Mike Love sued him over unpaid royalties and songwriting credits - a case Brian lost, resulting in a $5 million payout and a share of future royalties.
