Musical origins

Brian Wilson was born on June 20, 1942, in Inglewood, California.

He and his younger brothers, Dennis and Carl, endured abuse from their father, Murry.

Despite the challenges at home, Brian showed a natural musical talent from a young age, singing with his parents and at school.

He quickly developed a gift for harmony, especially with his brothers - who would later join him in forming The Beach Boys.
