Struggling with substance and alcohol abuse, frequent breakdowns, and compulsive overeating, he became increasingly withdrawn.

After his father’s death in 1973, Brian isolated himself at home, often staying in pyjamas and rarely going out.

Despite his daytime reclusiveness, he was known to spend late nights socialising with fellow musicians like Alice Cooper, John Lennon, and Keith Moon at Danny Hutton’s house.
