Interstellar

Yet another Christopher Nolan picture that left moviegoers perplexed was 2014’s ‘Interstellar’.

The film, which stars Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway and Timothee Chalamet, sees a NASA pilot and a team of researchers leave Earth in search for another habitable planet for the human race to move to.

Some audience members definitely struggled to fully grasp all of the concepts the picture introduces, such as time dilation, the nature of reality and theoretical physics.

Even if it was confusing, the director insisted he believed the movie worked better that way, as people could then interpret the story and characters differently to him.

In an interview, he said: “People do always have radically different interpretations of things I put in there, but I know what I think, and I don’t like it to have any more validity than the experience you have watching it.”
