Glastonbury awaits
In June, Rod will perform at the Glastonbury Festival in the legends slot, marking his first performance at Worthy Farm since 2002.
After the news broke, the singer - who will be following in the footsteps of Dolly Parton, Nile Rodgers and Kylie Minogue by playing the Sunday afternoon slot - said he was “proud, ready and more than able to pleasure and titillate my friends at Glastonbury”.
This came after Stewart declared he would be finished with “large-scale world tours” once he completed his 2025 shows in Europe and North America, although insisted he will not be retiring.
