Batman Returns
Tim Burton returned with an amazing movie with ‘Batman Returns’.
Sitting pretty with 81% on Rotten Tomatoes, the 1992 film is an exciting follow-up to the first entry, bringing back the dark and stylised world the director created in the first.
The picture saw Michelle Pfeiffer and Danny DeVito play villains Catwoman and The Penguin, respectively, with the portrayals quickly becoming fan-favourites.
Luckily, Danny’s iteration of the character is not a thing of the past, as the actor has revealed that he would be happy to reprise the role.
He said: "I would definitely consider doing it, yeah. ‘Batman Returns’ was a great part, it was operatic. You could just pull out all the stops. There were so many motivating things, so many things churning up inside of him. Being the odd man out – the odd bird out – brought the character out of me. It was an emotional experience for me because I felt it was an opportunity of a lifetime to play Oswald Cobblepot with Tim’s vision and design. Tim is a genius to me."
