Marriages and Family

Raquel married the aforementioned James Welch in 1959 and the pair had son Damon Welch and daughter Latanne 'Tahnee' Welch together. They divorced in 1964 but the actress maintained his surname until her death.

She was then married to American film producer Patrick Curtis from 1967 until 1972 before a ten-year union with French director and producer Andre Weinfeld between 1980 and 1990.

Her fourth and final marriage was to restaurateur Richard Palmer and lasted from 1999 to 2004. Welch then vowed that she would never remarry.
