Made on a modest budget of $20 million, The Conjuring became a box office sensation when it hit screens in 2013.
The movie earned over $320 million globally, making it one of the highest-grossing horror films of all time alongside the likes of Hannibal, The Exorcist, Jaws and The Sixth Sense.
The Conjuring also became the first horror film since 2004’s Van Helsing to earn more than $300 million globally.
