A different role

Speaking of The High Table, Bill Skargard portrays the villianous Marquis Vincent Bisset de Gramont in ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’, though that wasn’t initially going to be the case.

In fact, the ‘Nosferatu’ star had been offered a completely different role by Chad Stahelski, though Skarsgard was set on playing The High Table emissary.

The director said: “I was actually contacting Bill for a different part. After he read the script, he came back and went, ‘I want to play the Marquis.’

“And I was like, ‘Really?’ He's like, ‘Oh, yeah, that's where all the fun is!’”
