Keanu Reeves is reportedly in talks to star in The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil.

Horror legend James Wan is set to helm Paramount Pictures' upcoming reboot of the original 2019 Korean action-crime thriller, which follows a police officer and gangster reluctantly teaming up in the hunt of a serial killer.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Reeves is in discussions to join the cast of the reimagined film.

It's said he'll be joined by Don Lee - AKA Ma Dong-seok - who is reprising his role as crime boss Jang Dong-soo in the remake.

The original Korean movie, which was written and directed by Lee Won-tae, premiered at Cannes Film Festival in 2019.

The movie followed the unlikely duo as they come together to track down the killer.

They've each got their own motives for catching them, which results in plenty of double crossing and games of cat and mouse.

Wan is set to be at the helm of the remake, which will mark his first directorial effort since 2023's Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom

The Fantastic Four: First Steps' Eric Pearson has penned the latest version of the script, with Resident Evil's Shay Hatten and A Knight's Tale scribe Brian Helgeland working on previous drafts.

Hatten previously worked with Reeves on the John Wick franchise.

Late last year, it was confirmed Wan will also be working with Paramount on a new Paranormal Activity film.

He is set to produce the eighth film in the franchise, which comes after his Atomic Monster studio merged with Jason Blum's Blumhouse.

He said at the time: "I’ve been a huge admirer of Paranormal Activity since the brilliant first movie, with its creeping slow burn and subtle ability to make the unseen terrifying.

"I’m looking forward to expanding on its legacy and helping shape the next evolution of this scary found-footage franchise."

Meanwhile, Reeves was most recently seen in Jonah Hill's comedy drama Outcome, which streamed on AppleTV.

Next year, he'll be heard on the big screen as the voice of fan-favorite character Shadow in Sonic the Hedgehog 4.
