Intense, stylish, and masterfully crafted, ‘Heat’ is a gripping crime thriller that pits two legends - Al Pacino and Robert De Niro - against each other in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse.

The 1995 movie follows a criminal mastermind who plans one final heist with his team before retiring for good, all while a police lieutenant at the LAPD does everything in his power to stop the bank robbery from happening.

The cast trained with former British Special Air Service (SAS) members in firearm usage and Kilmer - who portrayed Neil McCauley’s (De Niro) heist teammate Chris Shiherlis - became so proficient, his skills were even shown off to real cadets!

Director Michael Mann recounted: “We did everything for real. [The actors] got so good that the footage of Val Kilmer, firing in two directions and doing a reload without a cut, they used that at Fort Bragg for Special Forces training.”
