starring Robert Downey Jr., Val Kilmer and Michelle Monaghan, the 2005 movie tells the story of a small-time thief-turned-actor who gets tangled in a real-life murder mystery alongside a sardonic private detective.

Looking back at the movie, Kilmer heaped praise onto director Shane Black, and labelled ‘Kiss Kiss Bang Bang’ as “one of the best scripts [he had] ever read”.

The actor added: “Shane Black’s dialogue was so fast and funny, I couldn’t say no.”
