Twilight Zone: The Movie (1982)
The iconic TV series 'The Twilight Zone' got its own movie in 1982.
In July of that year, a helicopter crash claimed the lives of three of the actors during filming. Vic Morrow plays Bill Connor who travels back in time to the Vietnam War. Hovering over a village, Bill sees two children, played by Myca Dinh Le and Renee Chen, who appear to be gunned down by a US Army helicopter.
Tragically, the pilot lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the three actors, who all died. Because of the incident, several crew members and director John Landis were charged with manslaughter.
