The Omen (1976)
'The Omen' follows American diplomat Robert Thorn who secretly adopts a baby boy after his wife Kathy gives birth to a child that dies.
They name the boy Damien but as he grows up it becomes clear that the child is in fact the Antichrist!
Filming on Richard Donner's movie was plagued with strange goings on.
During filming, the planes of executive producer Mace Neufeld and actor Gregory Peck were struck by lightning. Then, at a hotel Mace was staying at in London, the IRA bombed it, as well as a restaurant some of the cast members had a reservation at.
Terrifyingly, the worst was yet to come. In August 1976, John Richardson, the movie's visual effects consultant, and his assistant, Liz Moore, were involved in a car accident. Liz passed away in a similar way to how photographer Keith Jennings loses his life in the horror flick.
As John managed to crawl out of the wreckage, he saw a road sign that read 'Ommen, 66.6 km'.
