Laurence Fishburne
Laurence Fishburne earned plaudits and millions of fans thanks to his portrayal of Morpheus in 'The Matrix' franchise.
So, when the actor wasn’t asked to appear in the 2021 legacy sequel ‘The Matrix: Resurrections’ alongside Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss, quite a few eyebrows were raised, including Laurence’s.
Instead, the character was played by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, who was later revealed to be a computer program based off the original.
Even so, Laurence admitted he wasn’t particularly impressed with the final product when he watched ‘The Matrix: Resurrections’.
He said: “It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. And it wasn't as good as I hoped it would be.”
