William Hurt

William Hurt played General Thaddeus Ross in the MCU ever since 2008’s ‘The Incredible Hulk’, appearing in several other films including 'Captain America: Civil War' and 'Black Widow'.

Sadly, the actor passed away in 2022, forcing the studio to recast the Ross.

Eventually, Harrison Ford was given the part, and is expected to make his debut in 2025’s ‘Thunderbolts’, in which he will star alongside Florence Pugh and Sebastian Stan.
