Different director
'Interstellar' is regarded as one of Christopher Nolan's best movies, but the director wasn't always going to helm the picture.
Initially, Steven Spielberg was attached to the movie as far back as 2006, and brought on the 'Inception' director's younger sibling Jonathan Nolan to write the script.
However, Spielberg moved onto other projects and the flick was without a director.
So, the writer suggested his brother, who had some ideas for another sci-fi film. Paramount quickly snapped up Christopher's services and absorbed his concepts into 'Interstellar'.
