The content creator produces beauty and lifestyle content on Instagram and TikTok but parent company L'Oreal have come under fire for hiring her as an ambassador for the cosmetics brand, which is a favourite of teenagers, because of the explicit material she shares on the adults-only subscription site.

Ari, who describes herself as a "mattress actress", admitted: “Most brands tend to hesitate when it comes to collaborating with me because of the kind of content I create.”

L'Oreal's own Value Charter - which sets out ethical standards for the influencers they work with - states partners must share their "ethical principles" and not have posted pornography or other “content which is at odds with our values of respect, tolerance and inclusion”.

But the firm defended the collaboration and praised Ari for having been open about discussing “the joys, challenges, and risks of the industry she works in”.

The Fawcett Society, a UK charity campaigning for women's rights and gender equality, expressed their "concerns" about Ari being an ambassador for Urban Decay.

Chief executive Penny East told The Guardian newspaper: “We have concerns about the thousands of very young women joining the site in the hope of finding fame and fortune. The majority of OnlyFans creators make very little money and the pressure to find a niche is pushing women to make increasingly explicit content.

“Ari Kytsya is one of the few successes. She is a hugely popular and engaging influencer, with a large following across all social media platforms.

"She also creates highly explicit and pornographic content on OnlyFans. The move to put OnlyFans content creators in high-street commercial makeup campaigns will only serve to make OnlyFans a more enticing prospect for young girls.”

Urban Decay shared a TikTok post featuring pixelated images of Ari, with a sensitive content warning and the headline "UD likes it raw".

In the video, the influencer states that “censorship is out of control” and calls for “uncensored make-up” that performs “on stage, on camera and yes on mattresses”.
