Box Office
Despite limiting its potential audience through its R rating, ‘Kill Bill: Vol. 1’, impressed at the box office.
With a relatively-low budget of $30 million, the movie ended its theatrical run with $180 million, and achieved the highest-grossing opening weekend of a Quentin Tarantino at the time.
Sadly, neither the film nor its 2004 sequel received any Oscar nominations, but the picture did win three MTV Movie and TV Awards for Best Fight, Best Villain and Best Female Performance.
