Making changes

Quentin Tarantino plans out every second of his screenplays in advance, but he’s still open to making some last-minute changes.

In the original script, The Bride was going to kill off every single member of The Crazy 88, including the character played by Hu Xiaokui, who was 17 at the time.

However, because of actor’s boyish looks, the director felt like The Bride wouldn’t have it in her to take his life.

He recounted: “I thought, ‘There’s no way she’d off a kid with a mug like this.'"
