Kill Bill: Vol. 3
With the success of both of his ‘Kill Bill’ movies, Quentin Tarantino spent years considering turning the series into a trilogy.
The director even had a planned plot for the supposed third flick, in which The Bride and her daughter Bebe - who he wanted to cast Uma Thurman’s daughter Maya Hawke as - would be pitted against the daughter of Vivica A. Fox’s character Vernita Green.
He explained: “I think it’s just revisiting the characters twenty years later and just imagining the Bride and her daughter, Bebe, having 20 years of peace, and then that peace is shattered.
“And now The Bride and Bebe are on the run and just the idea of being able to cast Uma [Thurman] and cast her daughter Maya [Hawke] in the thing would be exciting.”
However, both the director and Uma shot down any rumours that they were actively working on a ‘Kill Bill: Vol. 3’, as Quentin was set on making ‘The Film Critic’ his tenth and final project.
When asked about a potential ‘Kill Bill’ sequel, he said: “I don't see that. My last film is about a film critic, a male critic.”
However, the director has since changed his mind on his final project, and is no longer working on ‘The Film Critic’ - giving fans the hope that ‘Kill Bill: Vol. 3’ isn’t completely off the table anymore.
