Major injury

Although the movie released over 20 years ago, it was only recently revealed that there was a serious injury that occurred during the filming of the flick.

At some point in production, Quentin Tarantino demanded Uma Thurman had to drive an old Volkswagen Karmann Ghia without the use of CGI. Despite warnings from the health and safety team, the actress eventually agreed to the director’s plea.

During the scene, Uma lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree, which injured her back and knees.

After this information came to light years later, Quantum publicly apologised for his “horrendous mistake”, labelling it “one of the biggest regrets of [his] life”.

Luckily, the actress was quick to forgive him, and the two remain on good terms.
