Skinny-dipping shenanigans on-set

Hilariously, even Ariel Moore’s ultra-conservative parents were keen to let their hair down!

John Lithgow and Dianne Wiest, who played Rev. Shaw Moore and his wife Vi Moore, admitted that they got “wild” at the after-hours parties during production, and even went skinny-dipping together.

Dianne recalled: “[We] took off our clothes and swan in the pool.”

However, producer Dan Melnick didn’t stand for it, and made it clear the pair were forbidden from taking a naked plunge again.

John added: “There was a memo sent out to every member of the production the next morning from Dan Melnick that said, ‘Behave yourselves.’ It was directed to Dianne and me.”
