Kevin Bacon undercover

In order to prepare for the role, Kevin Bacon was tasked to go undercover as a new student at a local high school in Provo, Utah, where the movie was being filmed.

The actor intended to stay for the whole day, but left with his tail between his legs because of his nerves.

He recounted: “It was very much like my experience in the movie. A lot of the kids were hostile and the girls did a lot of giggling. I was terrified.”
