And it was in 1989, that film fans got Tim Burton's blockbuster 'Batman' which started the superhero movie craze.
Michael Keaton played Bruce Wayne and his alter ego and Jack Nicholson gave an unforgettable performance as the Joker, earning himself a Golden Globe Award nomination.
This film is still revered now and set a template for many Batman movies that followed.
