Martina Navratilova

Czech tennis legend Martina Navratilova was diagnosed with early stages of throat and breast cancer in January 2022, after previously undergoing treatment for early-stage breast cancer in 2010.

Fearing that her prognosis was bleak, the grand slam champion revealed earlier in March 2023 that she is in remission.

She said: “As far as they know I’m cancer-free.”
