In 2005, the 'Fever' singer postponed the Australian leg of her 'Showgirl' tour to undergo immediate treatment for breast cancer.
After an 18-month fight, she went into remission and resumed her tour.
On her return, the Australian pop singer spoke about her treatment and said that chemotherapy had been like “experiencing a nuclear bomb". At a 2013 event with the Women’s Cancer Research Fund, Kylie shared advice for those recently diagnosed, saying: “You can’t be positive all the time. So I say, when you are feeling down, when you are having a moment, allow yourself to do that.”
