Jamie Lee Curtis - Halloween: Resurrection

As one of the staples of the horror genre, you would have thought that Jamie Lee Curtis would have wanted to stick around forever in the 'Halloween' franchise, but she very much didn't feel that way.

The 64-year-old played Laurie Strode, a women tormented by the evil Michael Myers who was hell-bent on bringing as much pain and destruction to her as possible.

In 'Halloween: H20: 20 Years Later' (1998) the actress believed she would finally be able to kill her nemesis, but the producers had other plans. For the 2002 sequel, 'Halloween: Resurrection' she issued an ultimatum to the producers: "If this is in fact how we are going to conclude [H20], without the audience knowing, then I have to come back for one more movie, for a very short moment to conclude Laurie’s story."

Since then, she seems to have changed her tune with the franchise, having appeared in 'Halloween' (2018) and 'Halloween Kills' (2021).
