Johnny Depp - 21 Jump Street

The 2012 buddy-cop comedy had a surprise cameo from Johnny Depp towards the end of the movie, though he didn't last long.

Playing an old-timey undercover cop, Depp's character would be gunned down by drug dealers after getting lost in a conversation with Jonah Hill's Schmidt and Channing Tatum's Jenko.

Looking back at the movie, screenwriter Michael Bacall explained why the actor wanted to be killed off: "He wanted closure. I had so much respect for that. It’s a brilliant idea that was absolutely not mine. It works fantastically."
