Duncan Jones – the son of late music legend David Bowie - brought Blizzard's hugely popular Warcraft universe to the big screen in 2016, with Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton and Toby Kebbell leading the fantasy adventure.

The movie explored the conflict between humans and orcs as the latter arrive in the world of Azeroth through a magical portal.

It failed to impress critics but performed well in territories outside of the United States.
