Linda Hamilton was tough as nails in Terminator 2: Judgement Day, but one stunt cost her permanently.

While firing a gun in an elevator scene without earplugs, she suffered permanent hearing loss in one ear.

She said: “It was my own stupidity. I didn’t want to wear earplugs.”
