Despite not being their best film, Fox’s first effort is still a brilliant one.

2000’s ‘X-Men’ introduced audiences to characters that would become cemented into the pop culture zeitgeist like Wolverine, Cyclops and Magneto, and acted as one of pillars that would eventually give rise to the Marvel Cinematic Universe at Disney.

As well as having a huge impact on cinema, the film offered a fun and different look at what a superhero could be.
