‘Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer’ managed to surpass the first film in terms of quality, and is probably the best movie adaptation we’ve got of the beloved superhero team so far.

The 2007 flick follows the group as they try to thwart the monstrous Galactus from eating the Earth, all while his inter-galactic servant wrecks havoc on the planet.

Even though the picture is still as corny as its predecessor, the Fantastic Four gel well in the sequel, and the focus on the world-building and characters goes a long way to make the movie a more complete package.
