Keanu gave away most of his earnings

Apart from ‘The Matrix’ and ‘John Wick’, Keanu Reeves is best known as Hollywood’s nice guy.

The 59-year-old actor had earned a whopping $200 million across the sci-fi trilogy, and had donated around 70 percent of it to leukaemia research - his sister was suffering with the disease at the time.

Keanu also gave every member of the costume and special effect departments $1 million each.

Reflecting on his time on the trilogy, the actor emphasised that money was not something that interested in.

He said: “Money is the last thing I think about. I could live on what I’ve already made for centuries, so would rather give it to others.”
