Ben Affleck played Matt Murdock in Mark Steven Johnson’s 20th Century Fox Marvel film ‘Daredevil’, released in 2003.

However, his portrayal of the blind lawyer and his superhero alter ego didn’t convince many people… including Affleck himself.

He once told Playboy: “The only movie I actually regret is ‘Daredevil’. It just kills me. I love that story, that character and the fact that it got messed up the way it did stays with me. That was before people realized you could make these movies and make them well. There was a cynical sense of ‘put a red leather outfit on a guy, have him run around, hunt some bad guys and cash the cheque.'"
