Jessica Alba, 42, played Susan Storm aka Invisible Woman in Tim Story’s 2005 and 2007 20th Century Fox comic book films, ‘Fantastic Four’ and ‘Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer'.

In an interview with ELLE, the actress made it clear that her on-set experience was anything but easy, to the extent that she considered quitting acting.

Recalling the direction for one emotional scene, she said: “[Tim told me:] ‘It looks too real. It looks too painful. Can you be prettier when you cry? Cry pretty, Jessica.’ He was like, ‘Don’t do that thing with your face. Just make it flat. We can CGI the tears in.’ And then it all got me thinking, 'Am I not good enough? Are my instincts and my emotions not good enough? Do people hate them so much that they don’t want me to be a person? Am I not allowed to be a person in my work?’"
