When it was announced that Indiana Jones would be returning to the big screen after a 19-year hiatus, fans were ecstatic.

With Harrison Ford reprising his role as the titular character, what could possibly go wrong?

Well, once moviegoers got to watch 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull' (2008) many were left disappointed, especially in Shia LaBeouf, who played the explorer's son, Mutt Williams.

Speaking to the Los Angeles Times in 2010, the actor admitted he felt like he "dropped the ball on the legacy that people loved and cherished", and offered some changes to the movie that should have been made.

In response to this, Ford called LaBeouf an "idiot" and was not invited back for 2023's 'Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny'.
