Johnny Depp as Grindelwald
As a spin-off to the hugely popular 'Harry Potter' series, 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' was released in 2016 and showed fans an earlier wizarding world.
Depp appeared as the dastardly Gellert Grindelwald, a popular character created by JK Rowling.
Whilst the appearance was small, some fans were not happy to see the actor on-screen as he had recently faced abuse allegations from ex-wife Amber Heard.
By the time the 2018 sequel, 'Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald', came out, Depp received a lot of backlash to his performance as the evil wizard, as well as many questioning why he was still in the franchise at all.
Voicing their hatred of the actor, fans took to social media, with one user stating they "absolutely hated Johnny Depp" and another writing "who else thinks Johnny Depp as Grindelwald is terrible?"
