Tennessee Williams (1911-1983)
The Pulitzer prize winning playwright - who wrote 'A Streetcar Named Desire’ - died aged 71 on February 25, 1983.
His lifeless body was found in a New York City hotel room, and the case was initially investigated as an accidental overdose, potentially caused after Williams’ long battle with depression.
However, authorities later determined that the playwright died of asphyxiation, after choking on a bottle cap.
