Brian Jones (1942-1969)
The Rolling Stones guitarist died aged 27 on 3 July, 1969.
Jones’ body was found motionless at the bottom of his swimming pool at his East Sussex home.
He was pronounced upon his arrival at hospital.
His tragic passing came just a month after he was dismissed by Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Charlie Watts from the rock band he had founded.
It has been claimed that Jones was murdered by builder Frank Thorogood - who had been working at the property - in a row over money.
