A special lane for A-listers
It seems there’s a heriarchy among celebrities that celebrities themselves must respect.
According to ABC, the red carpet of awards shows such as the Oscars is divided into two lanes: one for major A-listers, and the other one for… the rest of the stars.
According to the outlet, the reason behind this is giving photographers the chance of taking their best shots once a big Hollywood name appears. Los Angeles Times photographer Jay L. Clendenin, confirmed the existence of this rule to Variety, revealing that photographers sometimes even ask the A-listers’ dates to step away from them, so they can photograph them in solitary.
