No empty seats!
It is common for the audience to see that every single seat at an awards show is occupied. But did you know this happens due to a very particular rule? According to The Hollywood Reporter, the organizers have to make sure that all the seats are filled and if there are celebrity no-shows then they are filled by members of the public, who also have to stick to certain guidelines.
Maya Tribbitt, a woman who once served as a seat-filler, told the outlet that those people are not allowed to wear bright colors, they can’t take selfies, nor talk to celebrities, and of course, they have to follow a strict "no looking at the camera" rule.
