A specific dress code

While there’s many awards shows where celebrities can be a little bit more creative when it comes to their outfits, the Golden Globes ceremony is not one of them.

According to Bustle, there isn’t a specific dress code for celebrities to take into consideration while attending the Globes, but they do have to stick to formality, a rule that was established in 1945. Few have been the times when the dress code has changed at the Golden Globes. In 2018, for instance, stars wore black outfits to show their support for the Time's Up movement.
