The colourful Caped Crusader turns 60 this year!

Adam West stars as Batman as he battles the dastardly villains The Joker (Cesar Romero), The Penguin (Burgess Meredith), The Riddler (Frank Gorshin), and Catwoman (Lee Meriwether) with the Boy Wonder, Robin (Burt Ward).

While the 1966 film was campy and not exactly the most faithful adaptation of The Dark Knight, Batman: The Movie helped shape the superhero movie genre into what it is today.
