In Memoriam
Sally Field and Reba McEntire paid a moving tribute to Dolly Parton at the ceremony, following the country music legend's death last month at the age of 80.
Dolly was described as a "giant" by her Steel Magnolias co-star Field before McEntire took to the stage for an orchestral performance of Parton's song Appalachian Memories (which the Jolene singer had performed at the 1983 Emmy Awards).
Home Alone and Schitt's Creek actress Catherine O'Hara, who died aged 71 in January, was honoured by co-stars Macaulay Culkin, Annie Murphy and Dan Levy.
The In Memoriam segment was closed by Jamie Lee Curtis, who paid a tearful tribute to filmmaker Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer Reiner – who were murdered last December.
