Matthew Rhys doubles up
Matthew Rhys became the first person to win two lead acting awards at the same ceremony.
The 51-year-old star's historic evening started with a surprise win for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for his part in Netflix series The Beast in Me.
Rhys then took home the Outstanding Leading Actor in a Comedy Series for his portrayal of Tom Loftis in Apple TV's Widow's Bay.
The Welsh star, who previously secured the Drama Actor prize in 2018 for The Americans, is the first male performer to have won awards in all three lead categories.
