Duran Duran: A View to a Kill (1985)

The 80s went glam when Duran Duran brought synth-pop energy to A View to a Kill, the late Roger Moore’s final Bond film.

Bassist John Taylor famously landed the gig after asking producer Cubby Broccoli, “When are you going to get someone good to do one of your songs?” as recalled in his memoir In the Pleasure Groove.

The track became the only Bond theme to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
