When Paul McCartney and producer George Martin took on Live and Let Die for Roger Moore’s first film as Bond, they revolutionised the franchise’s sound.

The track fused orchestral drama and rock swagger, becoming one of the most recognisable Bond themes of all time.

It was the first Bond song to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song.
